4401 is seeking a versatile and experienced Senior IT Specialist with a strong background in IT infrastructure, software development, and data engineering. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems, software applications, and data pipelines to support our organization's technical needs and business objectives.

The successor will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Internal & External) to deliver engineering solutions related to on-prem and the cloud environment that will enhance efficiency, reliability, sustainability and scalability across the IT, Software and Data Engineering landscape.

• Design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage systems, and cloud services.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal uptime, reliability, and security.
• Manage user access, permissions, and security policies for cyber security to protect sensitive data and comply with the standard regulatory requirements.
• Plan and execute IT infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and expansions to support business growth and evolving technology needs.

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications and tools to automate business processes, streamline operations, and improve productivity.
• Utilize programming languages such as Python (must have), Java, or C# to create scalable, efficient, and maintainable software solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and prioritize development efforts.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure software quality, reliability, and security standards are met.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance software development practices and methodologies for this organization.

• Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and data storage to enable efficient data ingestion, storage, and analysis.
• Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and data repositories to ensure data consistency, integrity, and accessibility.
• Collaborate with data analysts, and business users to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights and reports using Power BI and other visualisation tools through API integration.
• Implement data governance and Data Management policies, data quality controls, and security measures to protect sensitive information and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor data infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency of the data visualization framework.

• Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, including project planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Hands-on experience with JIRA project management tools.
• Communicate project status, milestones, and risks to stakeholders, and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, build the next-level team, mentor junior team members, and promote knowledge sharing and best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, software development, and data engineering roles in on-prem and cloud.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#, as well as experience with software development frameworks and methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services, as well as experience with infrastructure automation tools.
• Experience with data engineering technologies such as SQL, ETL tools, data warehouses, and big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Project management experience, including the ability to lead and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent are a plus.
