Job Description:

We are looking for experienced finance professional as Finance Controller in Upaj by Absolute. In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial control and reporting. The candidate will have various roles and responsibilities but not limited to:

• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Conduct periodic reviews and audits of financial processes and controls to identify areas for improvement and mitigate risks
• Oversee the preparation of accurate & timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, & cash flow statements.
• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
• Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
• Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures
• Managing the budgeting process and ensuring that financial targets are met
• Overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial reports
• Providing financial guidance and support to the management team
• Monitoring and controlling costs to ensure profitability
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive financial performance

What we are looking for:

• Graduation in BCom/Economics or finance related field with CA (must have).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance domain with at-least 2 years of experience post qualification.
• Demonstrated success in financial and internal control in FMCG, F&B, agri-inputs or allied industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse sales team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high proficiency in various financial tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India as required.
• Confident, execution focused, team oriented, with an ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
