Global Head of Human Resources

ACE Green Recycling

ACE Green Recycling

People & HR
Houston, TX, USA
Posted on Feb 3, 2026

Ace Green Recycling is building a global battery-recycling platform that combines:

Capital-heavy operations: owned plants, manufacturing, and technology deployment

Capital-light models: licensing, joint ventures, partnerships, and supply-chain businesses

The company operates across technology, industrial assets, and global partnerships, with a growing operational and leadership headquarters in Houston, Texas, and teams across the U.S., Asia, and other regions.

Ace Green is in growth mode. As the business scales, people systems, compensation architecture, and governance discipline must meet public-company standards—without sacrificing speed, accountability, or founder-led execution.

This role exists to support that transition.

What This Role Is (and Is Not)

This is not a traditional HR operations or employee-experience-only role.

This is a build and scale role, working closely with the CEO and senior leadership to ensure the organization can:

• scale globally across multiple business models,

• operate in regulated, industrial environments,

• support capital deployment, partnerships, and JVs, and

• meet board-level and public-company governance and compensation expectations.

Core Responsibilities

1. Platform-Aligned People Architecture

• Design and implement a global HR and people framework supporting:

• manufacturing and plant operations,

• technology and R&D teams,

• commercial and corporate functions, and

• capital-light licensing and JV structures

• Establish clear governance across employees, secondees, JV personnel, contractors, and partners

2. U.S. Expansion & Houston Headquarters

• Support Houston as the primary operating and leadership hub

• Establish U.S.-grade HR, compliance, and governance standards

• Partner with leadership on senior hiring, org design, and operating cadence in the U.S.

• Ensure effective integration between U.S. leadership and global teams

3. Governance, Compliance & Readiness

• Own multi-jurisdiction employment compliance across operating regions

• Build HR governance suitable for board oversight, audit scrutiny, and ongoing public-company obligations

• Partner with legal and finance on policies, controls, and documentation

4. Executive Compensation, Performance & Incentives

• Lead design and governance of public-company-grade compensation frameworks, including:

• executive and senior leadership compensation

• annual incentive plans and long-term incentive plans

• RSUs, stock options, vesting structures, and equity transitions

• compensation benchmarking and peer analysis

• Partner with the CEO, CFO, and Compensation Committee on compensation philosophy, governance, and alignment with shareholder expectations

5. Operating Model & Systems

• Implement HR systems and processes that scale globally and support regulatory, audit, and disclosure requirements

• Support international hiring via direct employment, EOR/PEO, mobility, and secondment models

• Lead organizational change as the company continues to mature

• Build a lean, high-quality global HR function

Who This Is For

You are likely a fit if you:

• Have 12–18+ years of senior HR leadership experience with global exposure

• Have operated in industrial, manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or deep-tech environments

• Have hands-on experience with public-company or late-stage pre-IPO compensation and governance

• Have worked with boards and compensation committees

• Are comfortable in founder-led, high-accountability environments

• Can operate across both strategy and execution

Why This Role Matters

• High-impact role shaping people, compensation, and governance foundations

• Direct partnership with the CEO and senior leadership

• Exposure to global operations, technology, manufacturing, and partnerships

• Opportunity to build systems designed for long-term scale and durability
