Role Overview

We are looking to hire a motivated, commercially oriented professional to support and grow our existing Lead trading and strategic technology partnership business, while assisting in developing new opportunities in rare earths and battery materials across trading and supply chain activities.

This role is execution-focused, with exposure to business development and strategy, and involves working closely with senior leadership on both established and emerging material streams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Trading & Existing Business Support

  • Support day-to-day execution of the lead trading business, including coordination with suppliers, buyers, and logistics partners.
  • Assist in managing commercial relationships with recyclers, smelters, traders, and customers.
  • Support pricing analysis, deal tracking, and contract execution.

2. Strategic Technology Partnerships

  • Assist in the coordination and commercial support of technology partnerships related to Ace’s proprietary green ULAB recycling technology.
  • Support discussions with partners on volumes, commercials, and timelines.
  • Track performance and follow up on agreed deliverables.

3. Rare Earths & Battery Materials Development

  • Support sourcing and market research for rare earth elements, battery materials, and critical minerals.
  • Assist in identifying potential suppliers and customers across the value chain.
  • Support trial trades, pilot shipments, and early-stage commercial discussions.

4. Commercial & Market Analysis

  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and regulatory developments relevant to lead, REEs, and battery materials.
  • Prepare commercial models, margin analysis, and market notes.
  • Coordinate internally on contracts, logistics, compliance, and documentation.

Candidate Profile

  • 3–10 years of experience in metals trading, commodities, battery materials, recycling, or related supply chain roles.
  • Exposure to physical trading or industrial supply chains is preferred.
  • Experience or familiarity with rare earths or battery materials is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, international environment.
  • Willingness to learn and grow into broader responsibilities.

Location:

Singapore (LinkedIn default*). However, the role is flexible across Asia, depending on candidate fit and business needs.
