Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Accounting

  • Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and SEC requirements.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, including intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments.
  • Convert subsidiary financials from local GAAP, Ind AS, and IFRS to US GAAP.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial records and reporting.
  • Support the annual external audit process and liaise with auditors and cross-functional teams.

Audit & Compliance

  • Coordinate and support PCAOB, statutory, and internal audits, including resolution of audit queries.
  • Assist in SEC and public company filings and disclosures.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.

Technical Accounting

  • Handle technical accounting matters under US GAAP, including revenue recognition, leases, inventory, intercompany transactions, and consolidation adjustments.
  • Support accounting for commodity derivatives and hedging transactions – understanding the economic purpose and ensuring accurate accounting treatment.
  • Assist with the preparation of accounting policy documents, standard operating procedures, and technical accounting memos.

Tax & Regulatory

  • Support tax compliance activities including GST, TDS, income tax, deferred tax, and reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with consultants and auditors on tax assessments and filings.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified CA or CPA (semi-qualified CA with strong relevant experience will be considered).
  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
  • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP; conversions is a plus.
  • Experience with commodity trading, derivatives, or hedging — particularly in energy or metals.
  • Prior exposure to publicly listed companies or US-listed multinationals preferred.
  • Based in Delhi NCR or willing to commute to the office regularly.
