Founded by brothers Jonathan and Alex Petrides in 2017, allplants makes plant-based living exciting and easy, delivering mouthwatering, healthier food to busy homes UK-wide. Since launching in 2017, allplants is already the leading plant-based living platform in Europe having served up >7 million meals to UK homes who subscribe for feel-good, healthier living. This track-record resulted in a record-breaking Series B raise in Summer 2021 and our launch into retail.

The plans for 2024 and beyond are as exciting as they are delicious - growing the product range to serve a growing community and expanding the production space in Blackhorse Road (The Greenhouse).

The role:

We are looking to bring a talented Brand Manager into our Marketing team. The role is full time and based at “The Greenhouse” in Blackhorse Road (with Hybrid working).
Reporting into our Brand Marketing Manager you’ll play a key role in the Marketing Team; you will building & executing allplants across Retail, Food Service, and DTC through building & executing 5* consumer centric campaigns.

You’ll show your passion for enhancing customer experiences with allplants, brimming with ideas to build a community that is bonded by the allplants movement and future way of eating. Ultimately your role will be to craft digital, POS, and ‘IRL’ experiences that allplants customers, and future customers, will love.

What you'll be doing

  • Retail Shopper Marketing - support in the creation of buyer day sell decks, briefing on creation of assets, input into range selection, project management across functions to bring product to market, creation of launch plans with select retailers, and leader of retail dedicated activations/comms/sampling events.
  • Food Service Brand Activation - support in the New Business development and activation in this new business unit; developing pitch materials, leading tastings, and developing launch collateral
  • Integrated Communications - working with Brand Marketing Manager, you will architect the overall communications plan, you will be responsible for certain aspects, such as: NPD launches + playbook roll-out, and leading comms campaigns through allplants owned channels to deliver earned media
  • Campaign Activation - you’ll be central to the launch of broader marketing campaigns; from outreaching to journalists, planning supper clubs, writing blog articles, creating 5* gifting experiences
  • New Packaging Roll out - this role will support the team to create the packaging required for roll-out into retail and food service.
  • Consumer Trends + Competitor Activity Reporting - as Brand Manager you will need to keep up-to-date on competitor activities, be the trends watch of the brand world, and partner with finance to do reporting on NPD and category performance that will drive the innovation roadmap.
  • Launch NPD - Launch new dishes and categories onto our website, retail, and B2B.
  • Not At School Dinners - you’ll own this amazing charity initiative, devising campaigns to drive donations to ensure that no child goes hungry during school times.
  • Budget Management - support team with inputs/invoicing and general day-to-day budget management so the information is accurate and allows for the right strategic choices to be made.

Who you are

  • Strategic Acumen - ability to write clear and exciting briefs, have some experience of giving feedback in a motivating yet actionable way
  • Leader of self - You drive impact and results; always taking ownership for what needs to be done and finding a way to deliver adapting to whatever challenge or changes emerge;
  • Great collaborator and team player - every role at allplants works in cross collaboration with other people across the team. Whilst you’ll lead your area, the collective genius is what really builds our plans to have impact, and then it’s down to each of us to be accountable and deliver on our parts, in time and in full.
  • Excellent communicator - You are confident presenting to groups internally and external, and you are equally good at listening as explaining / convincing others.
  • You thrive from the variety of working across a broad range of tasks in any day, from diving into data reporting, to reviewing new creative, and event planning.
  • You’re brimming with energy and a creative mind with a passion for the plant-powered future we’re building.
  • You’re a big foodie, and love the idea of spending many hours of your week ideating how we can create 5* food experience

What you'll need*

We’re open-minded and believe smart driven people can learn fast, but you’ll be a great fit here if you:

  • Previous experience in a similar role at an FMCG business (big or small)
  • Experience within Shopper Marketing
  • Experience writing quality Creative briefs
  • Able to analyse and interpret data - experience working in Excel/Google Sheets
  • We operate a flexible way of working and love to have the team together at least 2 regular days a week at our home in Blackhorse Road (with the flexibility to be in for more days on occasions, when business needs require it)
