Ampd Energy is growing and seeking a data scientist to join its data team. Ampd’s Enertainer provides a new way for the construction industry to power its growth vastly reducing emissions and providing a high level of data transparency. You will be responsible for supporting our data team. The work is varied and includes working with data and the latest cloud technologies.

What you will do
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities where the field of data science can be utilized to generate value and establish a competitive edge.
- Design and apply data analytics model and machine learning techniques to solve business-related problems and drive product development.
- Present workable solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders by effectively communicating findings with internal users and preparing reports/dashboards.
- Research latest technologies and techniques of big data sources and Machine Learning techniques.
What you will need
- Undergraduate or above in mathematics, data science, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience applying data analytics, data mining and machine learning within business environment.
- Proven experience in applying machine learning techniques to real-world problems, preferably in the energy storage system sector.
- Hands-on experience in SQL, Python, and R.
- Comfortable using data visualization tools such as Power BI, Grafana, etc.
- Strong interest in IoT & AI / ML and in engineering and construction industry.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and distributed computing frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related services.
- Proactively seek opportunities to apply emerging technologies to enhance our data analytics capabilities.
- Demonstrated passion and ability to learn complex things quickly.
- Strong analytical and organization skills.
- Work independently coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
