The Test Engineer will own and support testing across our design and manufacturing process. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining test plans, procedures, and systems that ensure product quality and reliability at scale.

You will work closely with R&D and Quality to translate product requirements into effective design and manufacturing tests, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement in testing and production performance.

What You'll Do:

  • Test Strategy & Execution — Develop, execute, and improve test plans, procedures, and validation protocols for electronics/electrical and battery systems design.

  • Factory Testing Ownership — Manage and support factory testing activities to ensure product quality and readiness for deployment.

  • Test Station Development — Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance factory test stations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting — Review factory test reports, analyze test data, and provide actionable insights to improve product performance.

  • Troubleshooting & Root Cause — Diagnose design, manufacturing and test failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration — Partner with QA, factory and engineering teams to improve product quality, streamline testing processes, to ensure testing procedure is followed and meet design, manufacturing and quality standards.

  • Process Improvement — Identify inefficiencies in testing, design and manufacturing workflows and drive continuous improvement.

  • Field & Factory Support — Provide hands-on support in factory environments in Jiangsu and occasional travel to site as needed

Who You Are:

  • Hands-On Operator — Comfortable working directly with hardware, test equipment, and factory environments.

  • Strong Troubleshooter — Able to methodically diagnose and resolve issues in electronics and system-level testing.

  • Detail-Oriented & Structured — Ensures testing is executed with precision and documented clearly.

  • Data-Driven Thinker — Uses test data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Ownership-Minded — Takes accountability for testing outcomes and drives issues through to resolution.

  • Collaborative Partner — Works effectively with factory teams, QA, and engineering stakeholders.

  • Self-Motivated & Organized — Able to operate independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualification:

    Required:

  • Education — Higher diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.

  • Relevant Experience — Minimum 2+ years of design or testing experience in electronics products or electrical equipment, ideally with battery systems.

  • Test Planning & Analysis — Experience developing test plans and analyzing test data.

  • Testing Experience — Experience in design testing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving for electronics or electrical products.

  • Test Equipment Proficiency — Hands-on experience with power analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, megger testers, or similar tools.

  • Documentation Skills — Proficient in Excel with strong documentation and report-writing capabilities.

  • Language Skills — Strong written and spoken Mandarin.

  • Travel - This role required frequent travel to our factory in Changzhou.
  • Preferred :

  • BESS / Energy Systems Exposure — Experience with battery systems, BMS, or power electronics.

  • Systems-Level Thinking — Experience testing integrated systems vs. individual components.

  • Field / Commissioning Experience — Exposure to real-world system deployment and debugging.
