We are seeking a proactive Procurement Specialist to support our growing global operations. Reporting to the Procurement Supervisor, this role is responsible for the day-to-day execution of procurement, logistics, and supply chain activities across all company locations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help ensure materials, shipments, and procurement processes are executed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company requirements. You will join our team in beautiful Vancouver, Canada.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day procurement activities, including PO creation, requisition processing, and order follow-up.
- Create and maintain accurate database entries in the ERP system, including POs, vendor profiles, and item master data while helping optimize digital workflows.
- Schedule inbound and outbound transportation and shipping activities between Vancouver, Fremont, research partners, and vendors, including tracking shipments and managing cross-border transfer documentation.
- Support receiving, inspection, distribution, and inventory transaction activities.
- Assist with invoice matching, vendor communications, and lead-time tracking.
- Maintain complete procurement and shipping records for operational and audit purposes.
- Provide operational support to Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, and R&D teams.
- Provide in-person front office presence on reception, managing incoming packages, deliveries, and vendor arrivals while maintaining building security and guest sign-ins.
- Support other operational duties as assigned to support overall supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience & Education: Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Commerce, Operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience and 3+ years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- You have hands-on proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms to generate purchase orders, track inventory levels, manage vendor master data, and streamline procurement workflows.
- You have familiarity with international shipping and customs documentation.
- You have a proven ability to multitask and reprioritize dynamically in a fast-paced environment, successfully balancing urgent procurement requests with long-term sourcing strategies.
- You have strong communication skills with internal teams and external vendors.
- You have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
The hiring range for this role is $66,400 - $74,700, annually. Our ranges are based on market data. Offered salaries will be based on a combination of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience. For candidates who exceed role requirements, we are open to exploring above-range offers. Note that base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at Aspect.
