Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Design wireless communication backhaul links and plan the layout of the network infrastructure.
• Analyse the customer requirements and constraints of a wireless network project to determine the feasibility of an effective design
• Collaborate with Customer Network team, to integrate Astrome wireless devices into network topologies.
• Work on Radio Frequency (RF) planning to ensure optimum link budget for reliable communication.
• Oversee installing and configuring wireless hardware and software components.
• Monitor network performance via monitoring tools/portals and make adjustments as needed to optimize signal strength, data throughput, and coverage.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders such as network administrators, internal stakeholders such as project managers, account managers, development engineers as needed.
• Provide technical assessment of requirements gathered during concept or pre-sales stage.
• Train and mentor other engineers and partner field engineers.
• Create and/or Improve SOP related to deployments.
• Roles will be split between office and customer onsite work.
• Should train and support deployment contractors.
