Astrome is seeking a talented Satellite Systems and Control Design Engineer to contribute to our cutting-edge space technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of satellite dynamics, orbital mechanics, and control systems. You will be involved in designing, analyzing, and implementing innovative solutions for satellite subsystems, such as attitude control, orbit determination, and telemetry and telecommand systems.

Responsibilities:

• Satellite Housekeeping: Oversee the satellite's housekeeping functions, ensuring the health and status of all onboard systems, including power management, communications, and onboard software.
• Uplink and Downlink of Payload Data: Manage the uplink and downlink operations for payload data, ensuring reliable transmission between the satellite and ground stations for mission-critical communication.
• Telemetry, Telecommand & Control Operations: Coordinate telemetry, telecommand, and control (TT&C) operations, facilitating real-time communication with the satellite, monitoring its status, and issuing commands to maintain optimal functionality.
• Attitude Estimation and Control: Develop and implement systems for satellite attitude estimation and control, ensuring accurate positioning and orientation in space for proper mission execution.
• Orbit Maintenance: Design and implement strategies for orbit maintenance, including maneuvers and adjustments, to ensure the satellite remains in its designated orbit throughout the mission.
