Astrome is looking for a skilled Electronic Hardware Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analog and digital circuit design, PCB layout, and embedded systems. You will be involved in the entire product development cycle, from concept to production, working on exciting projects that push the boundaries of technology.
Responsibilities:
- High-Speed Signal Processing Hardware Design: Design and develop high-speed signal processing hardware using FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array) technology to meet the satellite's performance requirements.
- RF Hardware Design: Design and develop RF hardware (radio frequency systems) for satellite communication, ensuring optimal signal transmission and reception in space environments.
- Schematic and PCB Layout: Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts for satellite electronics, ensuring that designs meet performance, space, and weight constraints.
- Component Selection: Select appropriate components based on criteria such as performance, cost, availability, and reliability, ensuring long-term functionality in space conditions.
- Signal and Power Integrity: Perform signal and power integrity analysis to ensure the quality and robustness of the design, minimizing issues such as signal degradation, interference, and power losses.
- Coordination with Production Team: Work closely with the production team to ensure the accurate fabrication, assembly, and testing of hardware components in compliance with design specifications.
- RF System Design: Understand the RF system requirements and develop the link budget for RF systems, ensuring efficient and reliable communication between the satellite and ground stations.
- Selection of RF Components: Select RF components such as filters, antennas, and amplifiers, ensuring compatibility and performance within the satellite's communication system.
This role involves a combination of design, analysis, and collaboration with other teams to ensure that electronic hardware meets the stringent demands of satellite systems.
