ROLE SUMMARY
The Senior Manager, Supply Chain at ATEC will oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations from contract- manufacturing and procurement to destination country logistics involving stove and component manufacturers, external logistics partners and distributors servicing ATEC’s clients in Asia and Africa.
The Senior Manager, Supply Chain will work in close cooperation with colleagues from our Global Operations team based in South East Asia. Candidates should be located in Cambodia or any other country in Asia (between GMT+5 to GMT+10)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supply Chain Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with ATEC Global's business objectives.
- Identify and manage risks within the supply chain, particularly in the context of cross-border operations with partners.
- Monitor industry trends and integrate best practices to enhance supply chain efficiency and sustainability.
Supplier and Vendor Management
- Maintain strong relationships with Chinese and Indian appliance and component manufacturers
- Drive negotiation of contracts, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure optimal terms and conditions.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on supplier due diligence assessments ensuring quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and audits to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
Logistics and Distribution
- Oversee logistics operations, including coordination of third-party warehousing, transportation, and distribution, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Collaborate with logistics partners in Asia and Africa to optimize shipping routes, reduce lead times, and manage transportation costs.
- Implement and monitor ATEC’s inventory management system to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
Production Planning and Coordination
- Work closely with ATEC’s New Markets team and with contract manufacturing partners to align manufacturing schedules with supply chain demand forecasts.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
- Monitor production progress and address any issues that may impact delivery timelines to optimize inventory levels across locations.
Cost Management and Optimization
- Analyze supply chain costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or service levels.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives, such as bulk purchasing, process improvements, and strategic sourcing.
- Regularly review and optimize supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal and external teams, including, production, finance, and sales/new markets, to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Communicate supply chain performance metrics and insights to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional projects aimed at improving supply chain performance and supporting business growth.

EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 4 years in a management role.
- Proven track record of managing supply chains involving ideally Chinese and Indian manufacturers and logistics partners.
- Experience and strong personal network in the consumer goods industry, particularly in the manufacturing and distribution of stoves or electrical appliances/components, is highly desirable.
- Strong experience in contract negotiation, supplier management, and logistics optimization.

- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- Deep understanding of supply chain management principles, including procurement, production planning, logistics, and inventory management.

- Proficient in supply chain management software and tools.
