About the Opportunity
- We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our team and take ownership of platform-first projects to drive scalability, reliability, and re-usable components for our technology platform. As an Platform Engineer, you will design, build, scale, and maintain the infrastructure that supports our cutting-edge technology.
What will you do?
- Lead and execute platform-first projects to enhance the scalability, reliability, and reusability of core platform components.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure the platform is scalable, reliable, and secure.- Design and implement cost reporting for CXOs, ensuring cost considerations in every build decision.
- Work closely with other teams to align the platform with our customers' needs.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure platform availability and performance.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to platform infrastructure and processes.
What makes us a match?
- Proven experience in software development and engineering, with a strong focus on building large-scale distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Golang is a must and familiarity with other languages like Java/Python is desirable.
- Strong experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS/Azure/GCP, and developing distributed systems using cloud services.
- Experience with Argo workflow, Argo CD, and the Argo ecosystem.
- Familiarity with AWS Quicksight, AWS/Azure Metering, OpenCost, and Kubecost.
- Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, along with CI/CD knowledge.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to share technical achievements and impact effectively.
