As we enter a new era of AI-native customer experiences, technical services will be at the heart of helping our customers unlock transformational value.
We’re looking for a Head of Professional Services to build and scale a world-class solutions delivery function. You’ll lead a team of deeply technical Solution Architects and Solution Consultants (TAMs), deliver high-quality implementations, and evolve how we package, price, and scale our service offerings.
This is not a traditional services leadership role. You’ll be building a strategic, technical, customer-obsessed team that drives innovation, unlocks platform value, and partners closely with product and GTM teams. You’ll be accountable for revenue, delivery quality, and customer impact—while laying the foundation for a scalable, high-margin services business.
🚀 Your Impact in Year 1
Elevate our technical services talent—mentoring Solution Architects and Consultants to deliver with ownership and excellence.
Lead the transition from over-servicing to packaged, paid, and value-led service offerings.
Build a scalable delivery engine for advisory, and technical solutioning.
Establish systems to track PS revenue, utilization, and delivery health.
Act as an executive sponsor for key accounts and unblock escalations with empathy and urgency.
Build deep partnerships across Customer Success, Sales, Product, and GTM Ops to align services delivery with company priorities.
Drive Atlan’s AI-native vision by reimagining how services and forward-deployed engineers enable our platform to scale with context.
💼 What You’ll Own
🧱 Strategy & Leadership
Define and evolve the professional services vision and roadmap aligned to Atlan’s growth trajectory and AI product evolution.
Build service offerings that are scalable, priced right, and deeply aligned with customer outcomes.
Own the PS revenue number, utilization %, and team capacity planning.
🛠 Technical Delivery & Execution
Ensure high-quality implementations across all segments—from fast-moving Growth teams to the most complex Enterprises.
Guide technical solutioning, API-based integrations, custom builds, and architectural decisions.
Maintain a rigorous bar for delivery quality, timeliness, and measurable impact.
👥 Team Building & Coaching
Manage a global team of ~25 Solution Architects and Consultants with clear roles, paths, and performance expectations.
Drive technical upskilling, knowledge sharing, and AI-readiness within the team.
Set the cultural tone of high ownership, customer empathy, and continuous improvement.
🔄 Operations & Tooling
Establish systems and processes for project tracking, utilization, delivery forecasting, and headcount planning.
Collaborate with GTM Ops on tool adoption (e.g., Jira for PS tracking, metrics dashboards, time allocation).
Drive operational rigor and scale as the team grows.

Measurable impact on customer time-to-value and expansion success
Successful rollout of at least 2–3 packaged services offerings
Team growth, retention, and engagement at leadership benchmark levels
Strong internal partnerships with Product, GTM, and Engineering
🧠 You Might Be a Fit If You…
Have 10+ years of experience in professional services, technical consulting, or forward-deployed engineering—with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Come from a data, infra, developer tools, or platform SaaS background
Are fluent in solutioning, architecture reviews, APIs, and integration challenges
Thrive in fast-moving environments where 0→1 systems and offerings need to be built from scratch
Have successfully owned a P&L or services revenue number
Can context-switch between customer conversations, executive strategy, and process design
Lead from the front—whether it’s on a tough call, a hiring loop, or a product sync
