Position:
• One full-time hybrid role partly based in the Northwest region and partly based in the Western region of Singapore
• Candidates must be eligible to work in Singapore without the need for a company-sponsored work permit
Qualifications & Experiences:
• BS/BA from an accredited college or university preferred or equivalent work experience
• Minimum five years of sales experience in the beauty industry, preferably skin care and personal care products
• Experience in both B2B and B2B2C experience is highly advantageous
• Prior work experience in MNC is a bonus
• Experience in working with an international team is advantageous
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting tools
• Demonstrated command of analytical thinking, metrics-driven sales models and KPI’s
• Proven track record in sales, presentations, business development, and deal-closing skills
• Clear understanding of go-to-market strategies within the skincare and personal care product markets across multi-channels
• Demonstrated skills and experiences in prospecting and managing sales pipelines
• Willing to travel regionally and internationally up to 25% of the time
Job responsibilities:
Overall
• Primarily, report to VP, Brand (Zellulin®) (~70%) and secondarily, support the management on sales and marketing matters for the food & beverage brand Avie® (~30%)
• Act as the brands’ ambassador, serving as their primary point of contact during and post-sales
• Spearhead the scaling of Zellulin into various new markets
• Responsible for account development, distributor growth, and broker management
• Conduct weekly calls, trade shows, sales training, customer presentations and sampling of products
• Responsible for driving the ingredient strategy to achieve maximum sales, profitability, and market share in accordance with projected sales goals and financial guidelines
Leads Generation
• Develop a thorough understanding of the customer journey and each touchpoint's role in cross-channel acquisition
• Implement and execute sales strategies that identify key partners and operators within the designated assigned territories, including but not limited to online and offline tasks
• Conduct and present research on target customer profile, compile target list, derive business development strategy, conduct corporate mapping to identify decision makers and decision-making process, evaluate and revise sales methodology
• Research and understand the industry and market trends to effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers
• Build communication channels with customers, conduct regular assessments of users’ needs, market trends, conduct quarterly presentations to the management
• Keep regular, accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM software
• Assist management in identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities
• Actively prospect and sell to decision-makers across all channels
• Responsible for all physical tasks required for sales and deal closing, including coordination of preparation of sample materials and logistics
• Act as the final gatekeeper of the quality of services and products during the sales process before delivery to customers
• Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations
Sales & Accounts Management
• Deliver the strategy and participate in the creation of the annual plan to deliver volume and revenue targets
• Build, strong relationships with key accounts, operators, brokers, and distributors
• Work closely with the internal teams and management to prepare and compile all necessary technical documents and samples required for the sale of products under the brand, and to ensure customer needs are met and expectations are exceeded
• Proactively initiate and manage sales programs, driving deadlines and sales deliverables within Company business objectives and budget
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely responses
• Manage day-to-day communication/development, closely coordinate with and orchestrate all cross-functional teams, lead and track key milestones in cross-functional brand meetings, and prepare action plans and cost feasibilities
• Monitor sales performance across all accounts. continuously working towards increasing profitability with close attention to cost and revenue strategy
• Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
• Work closely with marketing to prepare and present external sales presentations
