Position:
• One full-time hybrid role to be employed via EOR
• Occasional international travel, including Singapore, Mainland China, and SE Asia, required
Qualifications & Experiences:
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related disciplines.
• 3-4 years of work experience in material procurement, logistics and warehouse is required.
• Proven experience procuring and coordinating inbound logistics to Singapore from Mainland China, e.g., Alibaba suppliers and South Asia, is essential.
• Proven experience in outbound logistics to international markets is required.
• Experience in ISO standard compliance and ERP tools is highly desirable.
• Experience in SME supply chain management is required, and exposure to MNC supply chain, suppliers, vendor management and best practices is advantageous.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is essential.
• Sensitive to numbers and savvy in commercial terms.
• Being able to work in an international team is advantageous, with English as the primary communication language.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting tools.
• Aligned in value of ESG in business operations.
Job responsibilities:
Supply Chain Management
• Take charge of supporting the Company’s procurement and delivery of materials for production, delivery of goods to customers and other operations.
• Work closely with production teams to identify the need for material supplies. Ensure regular updates and projections of stock and material needs. Ensure materials needed are delivered promptly, in the specified quality, at the most competitive costs.
• Work closely with sales teams to implement workflows and measures to support excellent customer goods-receiving experiences.
• Manage and plan all supply chain-related activities in compliance with ISO standards. Be a key team player for ISO compliance, certification, training, and auditing. Implement rigorous, constant and immediate stock record updates and ensure complete traceability of input materials and end products.
• Plan, derive protocols, oversee workflow implementation for ISO compliance, and implement ERP tools.
• Manage and supervise the warehouse's operations. Ensure delivery of professional and expedient services to support services to customers and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Source new or alternative suppliers, conduct thorough comparisons, present proposals, and make recommendations.
• Analyse and compare supplier submissions to identify the most competitive cost, time, and quality offers.
• Prepare procurement papers, purchase orders, and other related documents.
• Conduct due diligence on suppliers, vendors, and service providers, scrutinising and negotiating prices and supply terms and conditions.
• Update, conduct regular performance reviews, and upkeep supplier and vendor lists per ISO standards.
• Manage the performance and delivery of goods and services from suppliers, vendors, and service providers from end to end.
• Manage the performance of forwarders and logistics companies to ensure timely delivery of goods and products to customers.
• Ensure suppliers, vendors, and service providers comply with laws and applicable ESG policies.
• Provide support to the Company’s ESG data collection and compliance.
• Take up special projects or ad hoc tasks as needed or as assigned by Senior Management.
