Job Summary
We are looking for a Sales and Marketing Lead with 3 - 6 years of experience building and managing a network of sales agents. You will be building a sales network from scratch and managing hyper-local marketing campaigns to drive the uptake of Cherehani’s products.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Network & B2B Growth
- Identify and recruit local sales agents.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of field sales agents.
- Take full ownership of the monthly sales targets.
Hyper-Local Marketing Execution
- Lead "below-the-line" activities, including roadshows, market activations, and community outreach.
- Oversee the deployment of billboards, signage, and flyer distribution, ensuring maximum visibility in high-traffic commuter zones.
Strategy & Analytics
- Monitor trends to ensure Cherehani remains competitive
- Track and report on Sales KPIs, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and the ROI of various marketing channels.
- Develop the "playbook" for scaling Cherehani’s products.
Requirements
- 3–6 years in Sales, Route-to-Market (RTM), or Marketing within the Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), Solar, FMCG, or Retail sectors in Kenya.
- Proven track record of building sales networks or managing distributor channels.
- Deep understanding of the consumer psyche in rural Kenya.
- Proficient in using social media tools and basic CRM/POS software to track sales.
