Role Description
ECOncrete is hiring a Technical Sales Engineer to support our US team on coastal and marine infrastructure projects. You will sit between Sales and Engineering: providing the technical backing that closes deals, preparing specifications and reports for clients and tenders, and working alongside our Biology, Design and Operations teams to deliver projects.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Sales to ensure the successful closure of the sales process.
- Liaising with BD\Sales Managers to provide feedback from clients about product requirements;
- Provide technical presentations and technical support to BD Team;
- Prepare technical documents and reports to meet client's requirements;
- Support Engineering Team in any technical documentation, specifications and R&D needed;
- Review technical documents, drawings and specifications from projects and tenders;
- Work closely with Biology, Design and Operations Teams to ensure the success of the projects;
- Conduct occasional site visits to projects as needed to ensure their success;
- Attend relevant industry conferences and events from time to time.
Qualifications
Education/experience
- Civil/Coastal Engineering MSc degree.
- Familiar with the US codes (e.g. CEM, ASTM, ACI, etc.)
- Specialization in Coastal/Maritime Engineering is a plus.
- Minimum of 4-5 years experience in Civil Engineering projects
- (Maritime/Coastal preferably) in a Consultancy company or in a Construction Company.
- On site experience (works, supervision, quality and quantity control, concrete
- control, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience on writing technical reports, specifications, presentations.
- Experience on dealing with Contractors and Subcontractors is a plus.
- Familiar/experience with physical model tests is a plus.
