*Key Responsibilities*:

Negotiating and Releasing POs of various Motor and Pump

Procuring material required for Pump order from suppliers as per BOM.

Purchasing of Pump accessories Motors, Transmitters, raw material , BOM part etc

Ensuring cost saving in all RM

Source and evaluate potential vendors based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness

Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms ( onetime & Recurring )

Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and cultivate new partnerships to expand the vendor network

Periodic monitoring of performance of vendors with the help of QA, establish vendors rating and initiate actions for improvement / development of alternate source.

Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery

Review purchase requisitions and ensure compliance with company policies and budgetary constraints

Coordinate with internal stakeholders ( TSS/ PMPS / QA and MRP ) to understand their procurement needs and provide timely support

Monitor inventory levels and manage inventory replenishment to avoid shortages or excess stock

Address any quality issues or discrepancies in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams

Qualification and experience

BE (Mechanical) , MBA with 5-9 years of experience in Pump Industry or similar Industry in Purchase function

In-depth Product Knowledge and Manufacturing Process & electronic purchase exposure, Brought out component like bearing pump motors mfg process; solar system components

Solid understanding of procurement best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements

Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Leadership qualities with a focus on teamwork, collaboration, and driving results

Strong negotiation skills and ability to build productive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders

Excellent analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail and cost optimization opportunities
