Job Title: Assistant Manager - Marketing (Solar Pumps)

Location: Chandigarh, Punjab

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant Manager of Marketing to spearhead marketing efforts for our solar pump business in Punjab. This role will be responsible for developing and executing regional marketing strategies, ensuring strong brand presence, and driving lead generation and conversions in the retail market. The role is based in Chandigarh and involves traveling across Punjab to engage with stakeholders, farmers, dealers, and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement localized marketing strategies for solar pump sales in Punjab, aligned with the overall brand vision and strategy.
  • Execute end-to-end marketing campaigns, including digital, on-ground, and traditional media, aimed at driving awareness and sales.
  • Lead and manage marketing activities such as van campaigns, wall paintings, farmer melas, expos, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility in rural and urban markets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local dealers, partners, and other stakeholders to drive regional growth and conversions.
  • Monitor the performance of marketing activities and optimize campaigns for better effectiveness and ROI.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and product teams to develop customized marketing collaterals and tools.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to refine marketing strategies and identify growth opportunities.
  • Track and report on KPIs and marketing effectiveness to management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in regional marketing, with a focus on B2C or rural markets (experience in the agricultural sector is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of the Punjab market, particularly in rural areas.
  • Proven track record in driving regional marketing campaigns and increasing brand awareness.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Punjab.
  • Fluency in Punjabi, Hindi, and English is preferred.
