The Role
As a Quality Assurance Analyst at Edovo, you will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Stakeholders to ensure that all changes deployed to production meet the product requirements, are bug free, and deliver impactful experiences for incarcerated individuals and those connected to incarceration.
GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to understand core product functionality and desired user experience.
- Work closely with fellow QA team members to manage and prioritize work.
- Coordinate deployments to lower environments for testing ahead of daily deploys.
- Devise, document, and execute test plans for newly completed features.
- Provide clear, documented feedback to development and product team members describing an area of deficiency and steps to replicate.
Qualifications
MUST-HAVES
- Strong collaborator with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Ability to manage deployments among multiple testing environments.
- Experience managing feature flags to enable proper testing scenarios.
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or related fields.
- Comfort with ambiguity; ability to work independently.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- SQL query knowledge.
- API testing experience via Postman or similar tools.
- Experience using logging tools such as SumoLogic, Splunk, or the ELK stack.
- Git and Github experience.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted tooling

Salary: Commensurate with experience
Department: Role reports to the Software Engineering Manager
Travel Requirements: Up to 8%. Travel includes bi-annual company retreats in the Spring and Fall and may include additional travel for specific team collaboration or facility visits.
