About The Role
As a Business Development Manager for Internships & Final Placements, you will lead EduBridge’s College Adoption Program under CSR initiatives. The role focuses on building strategic partnerships with engineering colleges and universities, driving faculty development, student upskilling, and enabling internships and final placements. You will be the link between EduBridge, corporate CSR sponsors, and academic institutions, ensuring programs deliver measurable employability outcomes and long-term impact.
Key Responsibilities
Institutional Acquisition & Relationship Management
Acquire and onboard large engineering colleges/universities under CSR-driven skilling and faculty development programs.
Build strong relationships with institutional leaders (Directors, HODs, Placement Officers)
Serve as the primary liaison between EduBridge, CSR partners, and college leadership.
Program Implementation & Coordination
Lead program execution post-onboarding, coordinating between EduBridge teams and college departments.
Deliver tailored upskilling, certification, and employability programs for students and faculty.
Strengthen industry connect through guest lectures, mentorship, and sponsored projects with corporate partners.
Internships & Final Placements
Forge partnerships with startups, MSMEs, and corporates to secure internships and placements.
Align opportunities with academic streams and project-based learning goals.
Drive campus recruitment processes including JD sharing, assessments, interviews, and onboarding.
Mentor student placement committees on recruiter engagement and professional communication.
Track internships, placements, PPO conversions, and resolve compliance or performance issues.
Monitoring & Reporting
Track progress through daily reports and KPI dashboards. Present program reviews highlighting progress, challenges, and outcomes.
Ensure compliance with CSR partner requirements and institutional commitments.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 8–10 years in B2B sales, key account management, or business development; exposure to education, skilling, or CSR projects is a strong plus.
Institutional Network: Established connections with engineering colleges/universities
and a proven track record of managing academic partnerships.
Recruiter Network: Ability to build and sustain strong recruiter relationships for internships and placements.
Business Acumen: Strong skills in client acquisition, stakeholder management, and problem-solving.
Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
