- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for Chitin and Chitosan products to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
- Identify and prioritize potential customers in Asian markets based on product fit and market demand.
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing customers and develop new customer leads through targeted outreach.
- Understand customer needs and tailor product offerings to match their requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities in the Asian markets.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Leverage industry knowledge and connections to open doors to new customers and explore untapped markets.
- Present product features and benefits to potential customers, addressing their unique needs.
- Monitor sales performance against targets, track progress, and report on sales activities regularly.
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to the management team.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Product Development, to align sales strategies with company goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing, logistics, and customer satisfaction.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Asian countries to meet with customers, attend industry events, and build relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, specifically in Chitin, Chitosan, or gelatin product sales.
- Strong understanding of customer preferences and market dynamics in Asian markets, including Japan, China, and Korea.
- Proven track record of successfully opening new customer accounts and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
