Stock Control & Logistics Coordinator

At GrowUp not only are we growing our salads, but we are also growing as a business. We are looking for a stock control and logistics coordinator to join our team.
The stock control and logistics coordinator role is varied in nature as it is partly hands-on and partly office based. You will be required to manage and take responsibility for intake, despatch, and stock control of dry goods and finished product. You will also be involved in an array of other tasks that will help us operate efficiently and safely.
As part of your job, you will be communicating with people at various levels, both internally (production team, maintenance team etc.) and externally (transport providers, suppliers etc.).
While you will be a full-time member of the GrowUp team and you will be working independently and/or part of a team
Responsibilities
- Ensure traceability of intake and despatch
- Ensure loading activity as per procedure (check temperature, traceability etc.)
- Stock controls; produce timely and accurate stock counts
- Coordinate order collections; link with third party transport providers
- Maintain the warehouse and yard in a tidy and organised state to maximise efficiency
- Clean the washers and report any deviations
- Ensure treatment of inputs as per HACCP requirements
- Sampling inputs as per HACCP requirements
- Organise effective waste collection
- Ordering and maintaining levels of specific items (PPE, Cleaning chemical crate, Pallet, Labels etc) as agreed with manager
- Ensure picking as per order
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Be the Prophet shift SME (Seed batch number, Packing and Seed order)
- Competent organisational skills
- Good communication written and verbal
- Keen eye for detail
- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel etc.)
- Experience dealing with intake and/or despatch
- Team leading experience desirable
- Previous experience of Prophet (ERP system) essential
- Forklift licence preferable
Package
- Salary up to £26832 per annum
- Full time role
- Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off shift pattern; 0700-1815
- Role is based at the farm near Sandwich
