We are seeking a talented and versatile individual to join our team as a Graphic Designer, Artworker, and Website Administrator. You’ll play a crucial role in creating visually stunning designs, ensuring brand consistency, and maintaining our online presence.
All the responsibilities we will trust you with:
Graphic Design:
- Create visually appealing designs for marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, banners, social media graphics, presentations, and more.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and develop creative assets that effectively communicate our brand messages.
- Design and optimise graphics for both print and digital platforms, adhering to brand guidelines and ensuring consistency across all channels.
- Stay updated with design trends and industry best practices to deliver innovative and cutting-edge designs.
Artworking:
- Implement and adapt existing design concepts into various formats, ensuring accurate reproduction across different mediums and platforms.
- Prepare print-ready artwork files, considering colour profiles, bleeds, and resolutions, for seamless production processes.
- Collaborate with external printing vendors to ensure accurate and high-quality output of printed materials.
- Manage the organization and archiving of design assets and files for easy accessibility and version control.
Website Administration:
- Maintain and update the company website using content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information across all pages.
- Optimise website content for search engine visibility (SEO) and user experience, including metadata, keyword integration, and responsive design.
- Monitor website performance, including loading speed, functionality, and responsiveness, and resolve any technical issues or bugs that may arise.
- Collaborate with the marketing and development teams to implement website enhancements, updates, and new features.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, Artworker, or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and knowledge of design principles and best practices.
- Strong understanding of print production processes and specifications.
- Experience in website administration and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
