We’re a full-scale, energy-saving, B-Corp certified, sustainably powered vertical farm. We’re on a mission to transform the farming system forever, so that everyone can afford tasty nutritious food, that doesn’t cost the earth. Literally.

In other words: we boldly grow where no one has grown before. Our state-of-the-art salad leaves are made possible by an incredible team of rocket scientists (see what we did there?), engineers, leaf whisperers, and a root network of fabulous people. Which brings us onto you

Your Role

If you’re an exceptional Project Manager looking for the next project to make your mark on, then this just might be your dream job. This is a chance to work at the cutting edge of sustainable food production, helping our Projects team to design, procure, contract, and manage projects from construction to internal fit-outs and from design through to commissioning.

We couldn’t be more excited about driving the evolution of the great British farming tradition, and in this role, you’ll be instrumental in bringing the infrastructure of that evolution to life, integrating designs and learnings from our existing facilities into new projects. As you develop in this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of a major multidiscipline construction project expanding our Pepperness indoor growing facility at Sandwich, Kent. If you’re a dynamic general team player with a willingness to learn and explore other areas of the business, this will be a role you can embrace and get out as much as you put in.

  • You’ve got experience of leading project management for medium to large sized general construction projects, fitout or process contracts.
  • You’ve got an ability to think logically for day-to-day tasks and time management, and you can find solutions for issues facing design, project, programme, and cost.
  • You bring good judgement and integrity to every project you work on – you can determine the right course of action with some degree of decision-making latitude.
  • You communicate confidently to internal and external stakeholders and you’re in your element presenting to external project teams.
