Who we are:

Guidewheel is on a mission to empower the world’s ten million factories to reach sustainable peak performance. Our leading AI-powered FactoryOps platform is the fastest and most scalable way for manufacturers to get more from every plant and machine.

Already trusted by 300+ manufacturers including Johnson & Johnson, Cargill, Hershey, Steelcase, ATI, and U.S. Steel, Guidewheel brings the power of AI to every plant, no matter the size. Customers have achieved as much as 2X productivity gains and cut energy costs by 15–20%, often within months. Recognized by the World Economic Forum as a top company poised to change business and society, we’ve also earned awards from McKinsey, Stanford, and MIT.

We have incredible momentum and alignment around our mission; backing from top investors including BlackRock and Temasek’s Decarbonization Partners Fund, Greycroft, and Breakthrough Energy Ventures; and a culture that values diversity, a growth mindset, and results.

The Role

With back-to-back record quarters and accelerating adoption across factories worldwide, Guidewheel has opened a spot for a Head of Marketing with a superpower in Story and Product Marketing. The mission: make Guidewheel’s story impossible to ignore and our marketing engine impossible to stop — a clear, compelling narrative paired with a repeatable expansion machine.

This leader will own our story end-to-end, lead a tight, high-output team in building a strategic, AI-enabled marketing engine that compounds every week to turn Guidewheel into the intelligence layer for the world’s factories, and shape how the world understands FactoryOps.

What You’ll Do

  • Own positioning end-to-end. Craft the narrative that defines FactoryOps and makes Guidewheel unstoppable. Translate product and customer insight into language operators, CFOs, and CEOs instantly connect with — the kind of positioning customers repeat back to us with a smile.
  • Turn marketing into a competitive weapon. Build and run the strategy that fuels our biggest growth lever: expansion. You’ll understand the FactoryOps lifecycle across plants and design the moments, messaging, and motions that lift multi-plant adoption and create power users.
  • Build and lead a tight, high-output team with extraordinary talent density. Serve as a player-coach for a small team (3–5) amplified by world-class tools and AI. Set a high bar for clarity, taste, urgency, and impact and create a standard, pace, and environment where the best people do the best work of their careers.
  • Manage the team to ensure a predictable pipeline engine. Develop a channel strategy aligned tightly to ICP and tuned for revenue impact. Balance brand, demand, and product marketing into a measurable, reliable engine that consistently delivers high-quality pipeline.
  • Build and run a world-class Customer Marketing engine that turns wins into momentum — case studies, reference programs, expansion plays, and stories that make our customers the heroes and fuel revenue every week.
  • Create content that moves metrics. Publish crisp, useful content teams actually read, share, and act on. Capture customer impact and turn it into assets that drive expansion across entire plant networks.
  • Scale with systems, data, and AI. Build an experimentation engine with fast learning loops. Keep data clean, dashboards sharp, and insights actionable. Use AI to multiply the team’s output, personalize at scale, and increase execution velocity every week.
  • Partner deeply with Sales and Product. Work arm-in-arm with GTM and product to turn wins into playbooks, shape ICP, and ensure our story, roadmap, and revenue engine all reinforce each other.

What we’re looking for:

  • A builder with exceptional taste, judgment, and horsepower. Someone who moves fast, thinks clearly, and turns ambiguity into momentum. Strategy → narrative → assets → impact — all in the same week.
  • A master storyteller. Crisp, vivid writing with zero jargon. Positioning that’s differentiated, memorable, and revenue-moving. Someone who has owned company-level narrative before and raised the bar for an entire org.
  • A product marketer at the core. Deep instinct for how product, customer, and market fit together. Able to thread technical differentiation into simple, compelling language that guides every GTM move.
  • A systems thinker experienced in building and executing Marketing strategy that meaningfully inflects the growth curve. Builds engines, not campaigns. Comfortable creating repeatable learning loops, tuning ICP, and using experimentation and automation to drive predictable, compounding results.
  • AI-forward operator. Uses AI every day to multiply speed and quality — not theoretical, deeply hands-on. Pushes the team to operate at 10× velocity with smarter tools and tighter workflows.
  • A partner to Sales, Customer Success and Product. Someone who cares about revenue outcomes, not vanity metrics; who collaborates closely with GTM and product teams to drive expansion and multi-site adoption.
  • Clarity and directness. A high bar for communication. Elevates the clarity and narrative quality across the company.
  • A talent magnet with a track record of getting outsized results from a tight, high-output team. Comfortable being a player-coach for a tight, high-output team amplified through world-class tools and AI.

Must-Have Experience

  • Storytelling spike. Has owned a company’s narrative before and delivered positioning that directly shifted revenue, changed customer behavior, or redefined a category.
  • Elite writing. Crisp, vivid, no-jargon writing that cuts through noise. Can turn complex ideas into clear language operators, CFOs, and CEOs repeat — and remember.
  • Deep product marketing strength. Strong instinct for how product, customer need, and market dynamics fit together. Can translate technical differentiation into simple, compelling messaging that drives GTM alignment and expansion.
  • High internal clock speed. Moves fast, iterates quickly, and naturally raises urgency. Comfortable going from strategy → draft → asset → experiment in days, not weeks.
  • Hands-on builder. Writes the narrative personally, builds systems from scratch, and thrives in ambiguity. Creates order and momentum through action, not oversight.

What we value:

  • Integrity matters: We are honest, straightforward and sincere. With each other. With our investors. With our customers.
  • We (actually) care: About each other. About fighting climate change. About making a real impact.
  • We use data to make decisions: We possess the courage to accept “hard truths” and confront challenges head-on.
  • The power of a growth mindset is real: We strive to be the best we can be. We are committed to embracing change and expanding our capabilities.
  • We are thoughtful and fast, results-driven with a bias for action.
  • Adaptable and resilient: Guidewheelers have grit. We thrive in fast-paced environments and aren’t afraid to take on hard things or embrace feedback and continuous improvement. We come through for our customers and teammates.
  • Extreme teamwork. No one can whistle a symphony.
