Headspring is a company established to develop new energy products that solve global warming and energy problems, with power electronics as its core technology. Since its founding in 2014, the company has been developing high-performance (highly efficient, bidirectional) power converters that are half the size of conventional converters, utilizing next-generation power semiconductors (SiC, GaN). These power converters (inverters, converters) are always installed in things that run on electricity. Their range of application has expanded from industrial equipment, railways, and home appliances to renewable energy application equipment such as solar power generation, and more recently to power storage systems and electric vehicles. In particular, power storage systems and electric vehicles require small, highly functional power converters.
