Role Overview:
The role of Electrical & Electronic Senior EE Integration Engineer will be part of a team of experienced engineers responsible of delivering all electrical and electronics systems for HVS
Key Responsibilities:
•Testing and validation of electronic modules on both component and whole vehicle
•Prepare and maintain open issues decks and other reporting material as required by the project
•Create detailed DVP engineering timing plan and ensuring that this plan is adhered to and successful implemented
•Lead in LV & HV system commissioning and issues resolutions
•The building of lab cars, HiL rig and test rigs required to carry out the development of vehicles
•Liaise with third party test houses and other relevant suppliers
•Lead in the successful integration on engineering prototypes, verification prototypes, end of line testing tools & Production vehicles
•Support in the legislative, validation and certification of the vehicle
Required Deliverables:
•Successful LV & HV EE component and system integration with other vehicle systems with all technical specifications and requirements are met
•Completed EE component design releases
•Any DFMEAs, DVPs and Quality Concern Resolution are implemented and met
•Ensure that the electrical content of the vehicle is on time and on budget
Person Requirements:
•University degree or equivalent experience within an automotive/aerospace/transport industry
•Clear, holistic understanding of all vehicle electrical systems
•Experience in whole vehicle electrical systems testing, commissioning and homologation
•Exposure in vehicle level EMC testing & EMI fault diagnosis
•Understanding of ISO standards 26262, 21434, 16750 & 16949
•Experience in automotive CAN architecture management and CAN networking fault diagnosis
•Experience in using Vector toolsets – CANape, CANoe & CANalyzer
•This person will have a strong enquiring mind who is always seeking to understand/problem-solve
•Working knowledge of GPDS, DVP, FMEA and APQP
•Strong computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
•Self-motivated, with the ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects
•Hands-on, team-oriented individual possessing strong leadership, problem-solving and analytical skills who is willing to take on a multitude of tasks
