Who we are looking for

As our Supply Chain Manager, you will be specialized in implementing cost-effective processes to spearhead our procurement, inventory control and logistics. This role is critical for the Company to ensure quality and timely delivery of our products across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire process in the planning of procurement, raw material planning, production planning, and supply chain activities, inventory control, logistics and distribution, customs clearance, ensuring effectively-functioning processes to avoid costly delays and lost opportunities.
  • Developing procurement strategies that are best-in-class and cost-effective.
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
  • Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track vendor management, shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
  • Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
  • Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual procurement plans and progress reports as required
  • Meet requirements of regulatory compliances by ensuring license, permit are granted for throughout of importation and exportation, complying to all policies, procedures and standard business practices for Supply Chain related operations
  • Manage third party service providers to ensure costs are competitive, service level agreements match business needs, and performance management systems are in place and effective.
  • Manage the quality control process of all our devices by carrying out system tests and document test results of all the devices.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience managing procurement, supply chain, inventory management and logistics.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin is mandatory to communicate with vendors in China.
  • In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership, analytical and organizational skills; demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team, assess priorities, and manage multiple activities with attention to detail, meeting tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills demonstrated by ability to interact professionally with culturally and linguistically diverse staff, stakeholders, clients and consultants, demonstrates maturity in dealing with conflict
  • Advanced Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel spreadsheets, word processing, power point, and electronic mail) and SalesForce
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
