Who we are looking for
The Mechanical & Ops Engineer’s responsibilities include managing different parts of current and
ongoing projects, supervising junior engineers and technicians, preparing estimates for time and
material costs, completing quality assurance, observing health and safety standards, and
compiling reports for different stakeholders. You should be able to work alongside various
professionals and create work schedules that meet deadlines. To be successful, you should
demonstrate strong analytical and logical thinking skills. Outstanding candidates should display a
superb work ethic and thrive under pressure.
What you will be doing
- Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe, clean, and proper execution of work procedures on site.
- Perform site servicing, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of water treatment equipment
- Gathering data, compile reports, and delivering them to relevant stakeholders
- Provide regular site progress updates to the Operations Engineer
- To plan, coordinate, and deliver with both internal and external stakeholders
- Participate in engineering development of current and future projects
- Be involved in all phases of equipment implementation, including on-site testing, installation, and commissioning of water treatment equipment
- Strictly adhere to the safety practices in the workplace at all times
- Ad hoc duties as assigned by the management
- Report to the Operations Manager
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- 3+ years’ experience as a installation or maintenance engineer (mechanical background)
- Experienced in all aspects of project deployment including testing, start-up, and commissioning of industrial machinery
- Knowledge of risk management and safety regulations
- Team player who can problem solve independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office)
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Preferably with a valid class 3 driver’s license
