Your Mission
As a key member of Hydrostor’s Finance team, the Manager of Corporate Finance plays a central role in supporting the execution of capital raises, project financing, and strategic transactions across our global footprint. Working closely with the Director of Corporate Finance and collaborating across Finance, Legal, Commercial, and Project Delivery, this individual contributes directly to Hydrostor’s growth and strategic objectives. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and enjoys taking ownership of both high-impact projects and essential day-to-day activities.
Your Day-to-Day Adventures
- Prepare marketing materials (CIMs and financial models), ensuring the right messages are delivered, and there is consensus across teams, advisors, and management.
- Contribute to the development of investor presentations and funding applications, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Participate in funding calls with project finance and capital raise advisors, lenders, and internal stakeholders; capture meeting outcomes and follow up on actionable items.
- Prepare and maintain trackers for financings, including virtual data room (VDR) reports, conditions precedent lists, and management updates.
- Collaborate with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to ensure financing assumptions are accurately reflected in cash flows, budgets, and ad-hoc analyses.
- Apply and adapt financial models to support debt and equity structuring, scenario analysis, and decision-making for financings and budgeting.
- Coordinate the preparation and submission of monthly and quarterly loan agreement covenant reporting.
- Monitor comparable companies from a valuation perspective and assist with internal and external valuation processes.
- Other duties as required, including support for FP&A and tax modelling initiatives.

You bring a proactive mindset and are comfortable balancing strategic projects with essential operational tasks. Your ability to communicate effectively, manage competing priorities, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders sets you apart.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in corporate or project finance (banking, infrastructure, energy, or adjacent sectors) with a track record of supporting deal execution.
- Advanced financial modelling skills, including experience with project finance models, valuation, and scenario analysis.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating lender/investor due diligence and managing VDRs.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with external financiers, advisors, and internal teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with energy storage markets and sector benchmarks is an asset.
- Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) would also be an asset.
Compensation Details
- $110,000 - $150,000
