Your Mission

We’re hiring a Senior Accountant to support our finance team with technical accounting expertise and thoughtful collaboration across the organization. This role will focus on interpreting and applying IFRS standards, preparing financial documentation, and contributing to audit readiness and process improvements. The Senior Accountant will report to the Manager of Financial Reporting and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.

Your Day-to-Day Adventures

  • Lead the interpretation and implementation of complex accounting standards under IFRS.
  • Prepare clear, concise technical accounting memos for key transactions (leases, loans, revenue recognition, impairment, intercompany, etc.).
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with accounting policies and procedures.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and disclosures in accordance with IFRS.
  • Stay ahead of changes in accounting standards and assess their impact.
  • Support internal and external audits with technical insights and documentation.
  • Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives within the accounting function.
  • Assist with quarterly journal entries, entity-level financials, and consolidation.
  • Maintain and update quarterly working papers and year-end audit schedules.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from internal and external stakeholders with agility and professionalism.

Whether you’ve worked in public accounting, a publicly traded company, or a fast-growing startup, you’re ready to bring your experience to a mission-driven organization.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong focus on technical accounting.
  • CPA designation (or equivalent) is required.
  • Deep expertise in IFRS; familiarity with US GAAP.
  • Experience in public accounting or a publicly traded company is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Compensation Details

  • $90,000 - $115,000
  • Discretionary Bonus
