Design and maintain a resilient global historian and remote operations platform to support real-time data access and decision-making.
- System Integration and Optimization: Architect and deploy integrated control strategies that harmonize operations across diverse assets and regulatory environments. Ensure seamless coordination between subsystems, from plant-level operations down to individual PLCs.
- Technical Oversight of Control Systems: Provide expert guidance on the integration of control systems with complex industrial assets, including turbomachinery, thermal management systems, and underground cavern operations. Ensure systems are designed for high performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Secure Network Architecture: Design and manage secure, segmented network infrastructure for control systems. Implement firewall protocols, secure data transmission methods, and OT/IT convergence strategies aligned with industry best practices.
- Grid and Enterprise Integration: Oversee real-time control system integration with transmission operators, utilities, and regulatory bodies (e.g., ISOs, AEMO, NERC). Facilitate secure data exchange between control systems and enterprise platforms such as PDIS and IMS.
- Cybersecurity Leadership: Champion the implementation of robust OT cybersecurity protocols in alignment with IEC 62443 standards. Conduct cyber risk assessments and ensure compliance with internal and external security requirements throughout the lifecycle of each facility.
- Commissioning and Validation: Lead Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and site integration phases. Collaborate with OEMs and EPCs to validate control system performance, safety, and readiness against functional specifications.
- Operational Support and Maintenance Strategy: Partner with operations teams to develop and implement predictive maintenance platforms that support aggressive availability and reliability targets. Ensure control systems contribute to long-term operational excellence.
- Documentation and Governance: Maintain comprehensive documentation, including control schematics, network diagrams, interface protocols, and alarm management systems. Support the creation and upkeep of governance documents and change management processes to ensure system integrity and continuous improvement.
