Field Officer

KUZA, a private sector social enterprise/BCorp, uses business as a force for good to drive systems change at scale in the food and agriculture sector with digital and youth at front and center. KUZA enrolls rural youth as members of its OneNetwork (a curated digital ecosystem platform), provides incubation services and graduates them as Agripreneurs by equipping them with the knowledge, tools and a network to connect with service providers to earn sustainable livelihoods.

We’re seeking a dedicated Field Officer to lead program implementation, partnership building, and stakeholder engagement. You’ll provide essential backstopping and technical support to our teams while mentoring agripreneurs and farmers. Your role will involve solution design, market analysis, and organizing training workshops for scalability and effectiveness. If you’re passionate about community development and have strong organizational skills, we’d love to have you on board.

Responsibilities:

1. Program Implementation Support & Capacity Development of teams
2. Lead Partnership building process to develop strong local partnerships
3. Ecosystem Partner & Stakeholder Engagement
4. Backstopping & Technical support to program teams
5. Mentoring & Guiding Communities (agripreneurs & farmers)
6. Solution design, Market Analysis, and Linkages
7. Organize training workshops to ensure scalability & effectiveness of the program

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of project management experience.
2. Proven experience including grass-roots involvement in rural retail business promotion around agriculture & livestock;
3. Strong leadership, communication & presentation skills.
4. Excellent problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.
5. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
6. Genuine passion for development and flexibility to work in diverse environments

Preferred Qualifications:

Applicants must be graduates in Business Management/ Agriculture, Animal Science or other relevant fields from a reputed institution.
