At Lithium Urban, we’re looking for a marketing generalist to join our team and help us achieve our marketing goals. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of marketing channels, including digital, social media, email, and print. He or she will be a strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute marketing plans that achieve business objectives.

Additionally, the candidate will have strong project management skills and the ability to work with cross functional teams. The marketing generalist will report to the Head of Marketing and will be responsible for supporting the execution of marketing initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities:

● Understand the organization’s marketing goals and objectives, and develop strategies and plans to achieve them

● Research and analyze market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitor products, and other relevant information to help form marketing strategies

● Develop marketing campaigns to promote products and services, working with the team and agency partners

● Plan and direct promotional presentations, including press conferences, networking and public relations events

● Write copy for promotional materials, such as brochures, social media and website content, and create or oversee the production of marketing collateral

● Manage social media accounts and post content on a regular basis to engage followers and build brand awareness

● Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed ● Coordinate trade show logistics and participate in industry events to generate leads and build relationships

● Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to get the best terms possible

● Prepare budgets and track expenses to stay within budget constraints

● Hire, train, and supervise staff members working in the marketing department

● Support senior management by conducting market research, monitoring industry trends and customer behaviours, helping identify target audiences

● Assist with coordination and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns, including creating engaging content that will attract the right audience

● Contribute to social media and content calendars by managing the production of interesting and shareable content, such as blog articles, social media posts, videos, infographics, etc.

● Ensure that regular web content updates are performed and check content for accuracy and consistency

● Track relevant metrics using analytics tools, monitor KPIs and report to senior management on campaign effectiveness

● Assist with email marketing, PPC, and social media campaigns

● Stay up-to-date with social media and marketing trends and best practices

● Design, develop, and distribute content marketing deliverables.

● Monitor online marketing and social media trends and best practices

● Manage the creation of graphics and illustrative copy.

● Perform support duties including but not limited to: database management, reporting and analytics, maintaining marketing materials, and managing sales and marketing software tools
