Lucro is India’s largest fully integrated plastic waste management and recycling company. We work across the entire value chain—from post-consumer waste collection and recycling to the manufacture of recycled plastic packaging—supporting brands in meeting their Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations with transparency and traceability.

The Research Associate will support data-driven and policy-aligned work across Waste Management Rules and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR). The role focuses on regulatory research, impact analysis, and translating complex data and policies into actionable insights.

• Track and interpret updates to Waste Management Rules, EPR guidelines, and CPCB/SPCB notifications.
• Translate regulatory and data insights into clear briefs, explainer notes, and content inputs for external communication.
• Support sustainability, ESG, and EPR reporting with accurate, verifiable data.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in sustainability and compliance communication.
• Fact-check and support blogs, whitepapers, presentations, and media responses with credible data and references.
• Lead online seminars for updates on Waste Management and EPR rules.

• 2–5 years of experience in research, policy, sustainability, or content-led roles.
• Strong research and writing skills with the ability to simplify complex policy and data.
• Working knowledge of EPR and environmental regulations in India.
