Where you’ll contribute:
- Enroll in our ongoing product and process development & optimization trials.
- Operate and maintain bioprocessing equipment, including pilot-scale reactors, upstream and downstream equipment, and utilities.
- Plan and supervise routine infrastructure maintenance operations: trial setup; equipment preparation; CIP; deep clean.
- Execute internal equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks by identifying and solving issues with equipment and processes.
- Support in monitoring bioprocesses by performing in-process control (IPC) during fermentation trials and downstream processes, including sampling and assisting in lab analytics.
- Adhere to and suggest improvements for existing SOPs and guidelines.
- Ensure full process traceability, including maintaining detailed trial records and logs.
What we’re looking for:
Educational Background
- Minimum EQF Level 4 in one of the following fields:
- Biotechnology / Chemistry / Biochemistry
- Industrial Production
- Mechanical Engineering
- Other related technical fields
- Higher education is appreciated but not mandatory.
Professional Experience
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing environments such as:
- Biotechnology, chemical or pharmaceutical production
- Food/beverage or agri-food industries
- Practical experience in equipment mechanics or maintenance is a (big!) plus.
- Candidates with mechanics or related backgrounds must demonstrate direct experience in biotech or agri-food manufacturing settings.
Skills & Attributes
- Basic understanding of GMP and Lean principles is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team.
- Availability to work in shifts.
- Strong motivation to contribute to sustainability and food system innovation.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
