We are currently seeking a Staff Engineer to be based out of our Puerto Rico office. Miyamoto International is among the nation’s fastest growing structural engineering companies. Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in structural engineering or related field; Masters of Science with emphasis on structural engineering, desired
- EIT/Fundamentals of Engineering certification
- CIAPR membership required
- 0-3 years of Relevant structural engineering experience (i.e., internship or previous design office); 1 year experience performing design of buildings and structures, desired
- Basic structural analysis and design skills knowledge, or steel, concrete, masonry, and timber
- Experience with ASCE 41, or performance-based design, desired
- Experience with construction administration
- Familiarity with BIM/Revit structural and analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood construction
- Strong analytical and communications skills
- Self-Motivated and conscientious work ethic
- Fluent in English, both verbally and written, a must
