We are currently seeking an Associate to be based out of West Sacramento. Miyamoto International is among the nation’s fastest growing structural engineering companies. Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on structural engineering, Master’s preferred
• At least 6+ years of experience in a comparable structural engineering company performing design of buildings and structures
• Client and project management experience on structural engineering projects from concept design through construction administration as lead engineer on projects with teams of 2 or more engineers and designers--projects must include commercial, residential, education, and healthcare projects
• In-depth experience with design of vertical structures built with commonly used materials such as concrete, steel, masonry, and wood
• HCAI and DSA, ASCE 41, or performance-based design experience
• Proficiency in writing and oral presentations as well as excellent communication skills
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• PE license, CA SE license desired

The salary range for this position is $90k-$110k per year. Salary offers are determined using a variety of factors, including but not limited to: years of experience, education, depth of knowledge, geographic location, and equity with internal staff.
