Job Title: Operations Manager – Deployment & Field Execution

Role Overview

Infinite Uptime is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to drive operational excellence across deployments of our industrial AI platform. The role focuses on technology deployment, partner-led field execution, and hardware lifecycle management across customer plants.
This role is responsible for ensuring smooth installation, commissioning, and ongoing operational support of Infinite Uptime’s sensor network and platform deployments through execution partners.
Note: This is a technology deployment and field operations role, not a factory or plant operations position.
The Operations Manager will work closely with Delivery Heads, partner organizations, and internal teams to ensure consistent execution quality and strong adherence to operational SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

Deployment Operations
Plan and coordinate technology deployments across multiple customer plants.
Ensure site readiness, hardware availability, and partner alignment before installation activities.
Monitor installation timelines from hardware arrival through commissioning.
Partner Governance
Manage operational performance of field execution partners responsible for installation, hardware replacement, and field support.
Conduct structured operational reviews to track installation progress, ticket backlogs, and SLA adherence.
Maintain partner performance scorecards and drive accountability against defined operational metrics.
Installation Quality & Commissioning
Ensure deployments follow Infinite Uptime’s installation and commissioning standards.
Validate sensor placement, orientation, signal health, and asset mapping accuracy.
Implement installation certification before system activation.
Hardware Lifecycle Management
Maintain visibility of deployed hardware assets including sensors, gateways, and associated components.
Track disconnections, replacements, redeployments, and asset movements.
Coordinate with partners and internal teams to ensure hardware reliability and availability.
Operational Metrics & Reporting
Monitor operational KPIs including:
installation cycle time
sensor network uptime
ticket resolution timelines
deployment backlog
Maintain dashboards and provide operational updates to leadership.
Operational Escalation Management
Act as the operational escalation point for field execution issues.
Work with delivery teams and partners to resolve operational challenges affecting deployments and customer service.

Key Success Metrics

Installation cycle time (material arrival to commissioning)
Sensor network uptime
Partner SLA adherence
Installation audit success rate
Operational escalation resolution time

Experience & Qualifications

10–15 years of experience in field operations, deployment management, or service operations for industrial technology solutions.
Experience managing distributed field teams or partner-led execution models.
Exposure to industrial sectors such as manufacturing, cement, metals, mining, or heavy industries preferred.
Experience with industrial IoT, automation deployments, or reliability solutions will be an advantage.

Travel

Moderate travel to customer plant locations for deployment reviews and operational audits.
