Supply Chain Coordinator

We're fighting the good fight against food waste, one Oddbox at a time. To do this we need purpose-driven, passionate people to join our growing team.

We usually respond within three days

Location: London/Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week on an Oddbox site, including our office in Vauxhall, our co-packing facility in Birmingham, or our distribution facility in Croydon)

Working Pattern: Full-time – 5 days out of 7, including weekends and bank holidays on a 1 in 3 rota basis. Our standard shift hours are 9am - 6pm with an hour lunch break.

Starting Salary: £34,500 (non-negotiable)

We're Oddbox. We're a fruit and veg subscription company with big plans to change how people cook and eat, starting with incredible fresh produce. We've been rescuing fruit and veg at risk of going to waste for over 8 years (49M kilograms to date), but we know that there is more we can do to create tasty veg-centred meals.

Role Overview:

As part of a team of four, you'll champion an efficient supply chain that empowers Oddbox to deliver our fresh produce and ambient products to all of our customers. On Time, In Full, every time.

🍎Create an efficient weekly inbound plan for all products taking into consideration, shelf life, distance and cost.
🍎Effective stock management to minimise waste whilst ensuring customers receive boxes On Time, In Full (OTIF).
🍎Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders such as suppliers, hauliers, co-packers and internal teams.
🍎Create easy-to-follow instructions for our co-packer to ensure our boxes are packed accurately.

🍇You have had exposure to inventory management
🍇You take a solutions-driven approach to problem solving
🍇You enjoy rolling your sleeves up to get close to the details of our operation
🍇You're adaptable and can manage your work effectively when priorities change
🍇You're analytical and comfortable diving into detail on spreadsheets

This role probably won't be right for you if

🚫You prefer strategic or long-term project work rather than keeping our daily operations moving
🚫You're happy to hear "We've always done it that way" without understanding why
🚫You're afraid to make mistakes (or you can't learn from them when you do)
🚫You need support to make daily decisions which are within your remit
🚫Spreadsheets scare you
🚫You're not comfortable building new relationships with colleagues or 3PL partners

Looking after you: We won't waste your time telling you annual leave is a benefit—it's your right. But we'll give you five extra days of annual leave (33 days including bank holidays), four "not-sick" days, and two volunteering days each year. We provide a £300 self-service L&D budget, alongside generous peer-to-peer learning opportunities. You'll have access to well-being support through YuLife and receive discounts on Oddbox products.

About Oddbox

Oddbox is a community-powered weekly rescue mission to save delicious, fresh fruit and veg which is deemed ‘too big’, ‘too ugly’, the ‘wrong colour', or simply ‘too many’ from going to waste. We deliver our boxes directly from the growers to people’s doorsteps across the UK.

With food waste being a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, Oddbox is building a community that together can play its part in fighting food waste and tackling climate change. We're a proud B Corp and have delivered over eight million boxes since we launched in 2016.
