Distribution Centre (Warehouse) Support Supervisor

We're fighting the good fight against food waste, one Oddbox at a time. To do this we need purpose-driven, passionate people to join our growing team.

We usually respond within three days

Location: Croydon - on site

Working Pattern: Full-time – 5 days per week, including weekends and bank holidays. Earliest shift start time will be 9am, and latest end time will be 9pm

Role Term: Permanent

Salary: £32,449

About the Role

To support our mission, we are seeking a Distribution Centre (Warehouse) Support Supervisor to play an integral role in overseeing and enhancing our warehouse operations. This position is an opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead our dynamic team and support the efficiency of our distribution processes.

Key Responsibilities

📦 Manage daily operations of the distribution centre ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.

📦 Supervise warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

📦 Monitor and improve warehouse processes and systems to optimise productivity and accuracy.

📦 Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, logistics, and customer service to ensure seamless operations.

📦 Maintain health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Ideal Experience

📦 Proven experience in warehouse management or logistics supervision.

📦 Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.

📦 Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

📦 Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations.

📦 Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Google Office Suite.

📦 Ideally a qualified forklift driver

Additional Information

Start Date: ASAP

Interview process:

1. 10-minute screening call with a member of our people team

2. Online interview with a member of the DC/Operations team, via GoogleMeet (30 minutes)

3. Site tour, shift shadowing and final interview (2 hours)
