About Oddbox

As much as 2.5 billion tonnes of food are wasted globally every year – which plays a big part in the climate crisis. We're on a mission to change that, with rescued fruit and veg from hard-working growers, alongside plastic-free ingredients and brands that do good for the planet.

With fruit, veg and more delivered right to your door, we're working towards a fairer food system – one where growers are supported and paid fairly, where food doesn't have to look 'perfect' and, most importantly, where we never waste taste. No more unnecessary air miles or plastic – just delicious food that fights waste with every box.

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Engagement Marketing Executive to plan and execute engaging, high-impact campaigns that deepen loyalty and drive customer lifetime value. You'll work collaboratively with teams across the business to deliver initiatives that support average order value and retention, using data and insights to shape our engagement strategy.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll take ownership of day-to-day engagement marketing activity, collaborating with colleagues internally, as well as external partners, to deliver campaigns and promotions that support our business goals.

  • Coordinate tactical campaigns and promotions aligned with key moments in the marketing calendar to drive average order value and customer retention.

  • Manage partnerships from initial outreach and negotiation, to campaign execution and post-campaign performance evaluation.

  • Develop tailored engagement strategies for different customer cohorts, using customer data and insights to build audience segments.

  • Write and present clear engagement marketing strategies to align cross-functional teams with the lifecycle team’s plans.

  • Draft detailed creative briefs and collaborate closely with the brand team to produce compelling, on-brand campaign assets.

  • Proactively identify and test new opportunities which support priority business metrics - improving customer retention or increasing customer spend.

  • Track and report on campaign performance, sharing actionable insights, learnings and recommendations with stakeholders.

  • Maintain high standards for customer data, consent, privacy and brand consistency across all communications.

Skills & Experience
You'll ideally have:
  • Experience delivering customer engagement or lifecycle marketing campaigns in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong understanding of customer segmentation and personalisation.

  • Confidence using campaign performance data to evaluate results and identify opportunities to improve.

  • Excellent written communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • A collaborative approach and the confidence to work with stakeholders across different teams.

  • A good understanding of data protection, consent and best practice in customer communications.

Nice to Have:
  • Experience with CRM, email marketing or marketing automation platforms.

  • Experience working with customer data, analytics or reporting tools.

  • Knowledge of ecommerce, retail or partnerships marketing.

Mindset & Behaviours

You'll thrive in this role if you:
  • Are customer-centric, always looking for ways to improve the customer journey.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, confidently balancing multiple workstreams.

  • Are a collaborative team player, committed to supporting and driving team goals.

  • Have a proactive approach, anticipating challenges and thinking of creative solutions.
