JOB DESCRIPTION: REVENUE ASSURANCE ANALYST

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Revenue Monitoring & Analysis
- Review daily, weekly, and monthly General Ledger (GL) accounts and revenue reports to detect anomalies, gaps, or inconsistencies.
- Perform reconciliations between billing systems, ERP, and financial records.
- Monitor key revenue streams to ensure all transactions are captured and billed correctly.
- Reconcile, monitor and track account receivables to ensure timely collection of outstandings
Leakage Identification & Control
- Identify, quantify, and report potential areas of revenue leakage.
- Investigate root causes of discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Work with Finance, Operations, and IT to implement stronger controls and process improvements.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure revenue assurance processes comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
- Prepare regular dashboards and reports for management highlighting revenue trends, issues, and resolutions.
- Support external and internal audits with required revenue assurance data.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Liaise with Sales, Operations, IT, and Finance teams to ensure alignment in revenue processes.
- Support system testing and validation when new products, services, or ERP changes are introduced.
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to the design of controls to mitigate risks of revenue loss.
- Recommend process automation and system improvements for efficiency.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or progress toward one is an advantage.
- 2–4 years of experience in revenue assurance, finance, audit, or related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and revenue recognition standards.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and data analytics tools.
