Trial and Implementation Manager
Provectus Algae
The Trial and Implementation Manager is a full-time role responsible for leading the execution of commercial animal pilots and rollout of a next-gen animal supplement with farming enterprises. The role is hands-on and suits an experienced technician with a demonstrable background in livestock, trials, and agricultural operations. The role is based at Provectus Algae’s HQ in Noosaville but involves up to 80% travel within QLD including occasional overnight.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day execution of animal trials in farm and feedlot environments
- Work closely with the on farm staff to ensure smooth trial operations and build long term relationships for commercial integration of Provectus Algae products
- Proactively identify deviations from trial protocols or unusual observations and work with on farm staff to implement win-win solutions in line with trial and commercial goals
- Maintain organised trial records and manage reporting such as trial reports
- Record, manage, and maintain accurate trial data relating to animals, feed, dosing, and operations
- Observe and document feed delivery, feeding behaviour, environmental conditions, site & bunker conditions, and trial-related activities
- Assist with feed, supplement, and product handling in line with trial requirements
- Lead the operation and troubleshooting of trial-related equipment and systems
Skills & Experience
- Degree or diploma in agriculture, animal science, or a related field (preferred but not required)
- Practical livestock or feedlot experience essential
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Comfortable working outdoors in a commercial livestock environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required by farm operations
- Computer, data and trial report writing skills
This will require you to travel to partner sites including feedlots and farms where living away allowances provided if applicable. Locations are generally in the South East Queensland area but there may be requirements to travel interstate in the future.
