EXPERIENCED ELECTRICAL ENGINEER AND TECHNICIAN [ Location: Austin TX ] About: Are you an Electrical Engineer and Technician with 10+ years of experience working with machine control systems, circuit design, stepper and servo motors, PLC, control cabinet layout and design? Responsibilities: Troubleshooting and new product design of control systems for 3D printers; Cable assembly, control panel wiring, and light mechanical assembly; Perform assembly tasks such as crimping, cutting, screwing, press fitting, bolting, soldering, sanding, cleaning, stamping, labeling, taping, marking, and color-coding parts; Work from drawings, sketches, procedures, blueprints, and written or oral instructions; Demonstrate attention to detail and maintain a professional appearance; Work as part of a team; Own new and different requests and add value to job accomplishments; Perform other duties as requested; Work up to 40 hours per week between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Qualifications: Experience with design and troubleshooting machine control systems; Advanced education degree or equivalent experience; Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations; Fluency with precision hand tools; Strong communication and math skills; Ability to work well under pressure; Ability to lift 35+ pounds and use light power equipment; Experience with UL/CE certification is a plus; Willing to learn and teach; Interest in 3D printing.
