Business Development Manager - Solar
We are looking for an energetic, focussed, and self-motivated solutions-based Business Development Manager who will be responsible for developing new business in the commercial solar PV sector.
You will do this by becoming a trusted advisor, providing direction & insight to win business for long term net-zero programmes. The successful candidate will have the presence to operate at all levels including senior C- level executives, be a great listener, and have a track record of winning new business.
The ideal candidate will live in the East Anglia / Midlands area however, hybrid working would be acceptable in this role.
You must be comfortable creating and operating under a tight schedule to meet project deadlines, while handling several projects simultaneously. Expectations include interfacing with clients, DNOs, buildings, public officials, project managers, and teammates, in a professional capacity, in order to bring designs, permits, and projects to timely completion.
You must have extensive knowledge of PV mounting systems (both roof top and ground mount). Experience with system sizes between 50 KW to 500KW is preferred anything 1+MW is a distinct advantage.
Knowledge of one or more of the industry standard design platforms would be an advantage, this could include SolarEdge site designer, PVsyst, EasyPV, PV*SOL, etc.
