Assistant Technical Service Manager

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Technical Service Manager to join our team at PT Bali Holiday Village (Club Med) in Bintan, Kepulauan Riau. In this full-time contract role, you will play a key part in supporting the Technical Service Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our resort's facilities and infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

1. Assist the Technical Service Manager in planning, organising and supervising the resort's technical services team

2. Monitor and maintain the resort's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance

3. Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules and oversee the implementation of maintenance activities

4. Respond promptly to technical issues and emergencies, and work to resolve them in a timely manner

5. Liaise with vendors and contractors to procure necessary parts and services

6. Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues across the resort

7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of technical processes and procedures

What we're looking for

1. Relevant technical qualifications in a field such as engineering, facilities management or a related discipline

2. Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar technical service or maintenance role, preferably within the hospitality industry

3. Strong knowledge of building management systems, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems

4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve technical issues

5. Proven ability to effectively supervise and lead a team of technical personnel

6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with colleagues, vendors and contractors

7. Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
